The Berkshire Gateway Jazz Weekend presents ticketed headline concerts this year on Friday June 19 and Saturday June 20 plus free "Jazz in the Park" on Saturday afternoon together with an Art Show, food vendors and shopping all in the beautiful western Massachusetts town of Lee, MA, the "Gateway to the Berkshires".

Friday night enjoy Frank Potenza, a west coast based guitarist, a protégé of the great Joe Pass. On Saturday, June 20 be sure to get

tickets for seven time Grammy nominated Bobby Sanabria & Ascención a dynamic nine piece Afro-Cuban Jazz group from New York.

Round out the weekend on Sunday June 21 with Jazz Brunch at the starving Artist Café and then make it to Tanglewood for Diana Krall with her Wallflower World Tour, featuring music from her latest album, "Wallflower," released in February 2015.

Frank Potenza Quartet

Frank will perform with his Quartet. A protégé of the late Joe Pass, Frank is an active composer, performer and educator with nine solo albums to date.

Frank has performed in concert with Dizzy Gillespie, George Van Eps, Joe Pass, Bud Shank, Mose Allison, James Moody, Harry "Sweets" Edison, Brother Jack McDuff, and many others.

For the first time, sounds of Latin Jazz are coming to the Berkshire Jazz Weekend. We are excited to welcome Grammy nominated Bobby Sanabria. Bobby will be performing with his nine-piece band.

Inspired and encouraged by maestro Tito Puente, Bobby has become a leader in the Afro-Cuban, Brazilian and jazz fields as both a drummer and percussionist, and is recognized as one of the most articulate musician-scholars of la tradición living today.
